Mark Kudrav
Mark Kudrav has led pelagic birding trips for Monterey Seabirds since 2017. He began his pelagic career in 2013 with Alvaro's Adventures, where he continues to lead trips. Since 2004, Mark has focused on shore-based seawatching, including being hired in 2016 by Monterey Audubon for their official Point Pinos Seawatch, counting every bird passing the point from November 1 through December 15. Mark has led birding and natural history trips for numerous birding organizations, taught bird identification by ear and animal tracking in the Sierra Nevada for San Francisco State University's Field Campus, and served as a private birding guide. When not studying and teaching natural history, Mark Kudrav proudly makes his living as a 4th-grade teacher in Seaside, California.
