John Tsortos

John has been leading pelagic trips in California for several years. His love for pelagic birding has taken him across the globe from the North Atlantic where he's guided trips with Seabirding in Hatteras, NC to the Southern Hemisphere where he's documented seabirds across New Zealand, Australia, and their subantarctic islands. In addition to guiding pelagic trips, John volunteers as a guide at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, serves on the board of directors for the Santa Clara Valley Bird Alliance, and is a frequent speaker and field trip leader for many local birding organizations.
