Location: Monterey Bay pelagic (SCZ Co.)
Observation date: 10/10/10
Notes: Route NW into Bay due to thick fog, crossing mid-Bay into SCZ within 2 hours where fog broke up but it was windy;
over Soquel Cyn, then S to mid-Bay about 12 nmi from Pt. Pinos, continue S to 3 nmi W of Cypress Pt., N to Pt. Pinos
and into Monterey harbor. This checklist is SCZ portion of trip that was>1 nmi offshore, so 2 hours + at midday.
